VM backup: agentless snapshot backup with VMware vSphere (VADP - vStorage APIs for Data Protection); CBT (Changed Block Tracking) for transfer of only changed blocks; Proxmox PVE and Microsoft Hyper-V VSS integration; application-consistent backup without shutting down running VMs (Windows VSS, Linux quiesce)2
Physical server backup: disk image (bare-metal) backup agent; Linux (Debian/RHEL/Ubuntu, kernel 3.x+) and Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) support; includes LVM, RAID and network storage (iSCSI, NFS) layouts; WinPE/Linux live ISO for restore to different hardware; P2V (physical → virtual) and P2P (physical → physical) conversion3
